Counter United For Europe March — Protest For Brexit
March 25th 2017 11am
• What's the message?
We want to leave the EU. Brexit was the biggest democratic vote in our history. It must be respected.
We want to hold the government accountable to the people. We also aim to stand up to the mass support ‘United March for Europe’ is receiving from remain voters. More people in London voted for Brexit than their own mayor.
• What can we achieve?
We can remind remain marchers and the government that leaving the EU and the single market is our ONLY option. Anything less would be a direct act against our democratic vote. MP’s voted 6-1 for a referendum, the people have spoken.
• Why 25th March 2017?
This is in response to United for Europe March that is planned on the 25th March 2017.
This date also coincides with the UK Government’s stated intention to trigger Article 50 by the end of March 2017.
We currently plan to hold a static protest outside downing St, coinciding with United March for Europe’s previous routes. If in the event our static protest will not coincide with their route then a change of plan will be enforced on the event, new information posted to the many thousand members on our groups and to the hundreds of thousands on our pages. All information about the static protest can be found here.
• What should I bring?
Flags and banners!
