Good food, good music, good people.

Bank Holiday Sunday 28th May sees the return of GALA to Brockwell Park for an unparalleled celebration of South London’s best independent music, food and drink. This year we’ve stepped it up on every level to make sure all the ingredients for GALA 2017 are just right.

Disco, funk and soul goodness….

We’ve been working tirelessly to deliver something incredibly special with our lineup and after back and forths lasting months we can finally announce our headliners for 2017 are THE HOLY TRINITY OF DISCO; Paradise Garage DJs, Horse Meat Disco and Studio 54’s very own Nicky Siano.

We’re confident neither Brixton nor indeed London has ever seen a disco communion of this magnitude before and we are extremely proud to present it to you! Both Nicky and the Paradise Garage DJs are flying over specially to help us rekindle some infamous late 1970s New York hedonism and land it right at the top of Brockwell Park. We are excited beyond words.

Also on this year's billing is live music from hitmakers Crazy P (full band) and the amazingly talented Australian trio, Harvey Sutherland & Bermuda.

Taking things deeper we're also flying over US house dons Mood II Swing who will play alongside GALA favourites Late Nite Tuff Guy, San Proper, Honey Soundsystem and Moxie — stay tuned for even more to come.

In the kitchen…

GALA 2017 sees the introduction of our BANQUET area where you’ll find 10+ food traders all with a strong affinity to South London. We’ve worked around the clock to collate some of London’s most exciting names to contribute to the incredible food offering for 2017. All our vendors have been briefed to create unique dishes, specifically for GALA. We will be photographing each dish in the lead up to the event. Here is our first round of food contributors, we’ll be announcing a few more VERY special additions in the coming weeks.

It’s thirsty business…

This year we’ve invited bar gurus, ‘Soulshakers’, down to handle all things drink (All bars accept both card & cash). We’ve also partnered with South London favourites Brixton Brewery, Canopy Beer Co & Brick Brewery to help fuel the good times.
