— Can your most junior employee completely revolutionise your business? How do you identify the ideas that will become the next startup unicorns?
These are just some of the questions that will be answered during this year's Entrepreneurship Forum. We will dive into the theme Tech Outside the Box, looking into how innovative thinking within the tech sector has led to a thriving Swedish startup scene in London.
During the evening, three fantastic speakers will share their stories and give some inspiration and advise on how to succeed in the tech and startup scenes. These talks will be followed by a tech exhibition showcasing the latest work of some of the Chamber's most innovative Member companies and how they have carved out a unique niche for themselves in their respective industry by thinking outside the box.
— --> Erik Fjellborg, CEO and Founder, Quinyx < — While working part-time at McDonald’s, Erik Fjellborg saw great potential for improving the scheduling of their part-time workforce. Said and done, Fjellborg developed a new scheduling software and ended up selling the finished product to all McDonald's restaurants in Sweden. This is the origin of his company Quinyx, a workforce management company now present in 6 international markets. Fjellborg’s talk will focus on his extraordinary entrepreneurial journey and how innovation can come from the least expected parts of an organisation.
--> Jessica Nilsson, Partner, Northzone < — Northzone is the tech investor behind successful startups such as Spotify, Klarna and iZettle. Prior to joining Northzone, Jessica co-founded HelloFresh, where she spearheaded the global marketing operation and grew the business from zero to $50 million in 24 months. With experience from both running startups and investing in them, Nilsson's talk will bridge the gap between the Dragon's Den and the pitching deck and pinpoint what it means to think outside the box — both to be discovered as a startup and to find those rare needles in the startup haystack that have the potential of becoming the next unicorns.
More speakers will be announced soon!
— --> Vaimo < — E-commerce platform provider working with clients such as Gant, Jack Daniels and Fjällräven, helping them to adapt to the digital era.
--> Tailify < — Being experts in influencer marketing, Tailify connects brands and content creators for tailored marketing campaigns through social media influencers.
--> Crobox < — Combining psychology with artificial intelligence, Crobox specialises in converting website visits to purchase decisions.
--> Teamtailor < — Creating custom-made career sites for companies like Lifesum, Filippa K and Spendrups, Teamtailor is a one-stop-shop for making recruitment a lot easier.
This list will be updated regularly — keep your eyes peeled!
