About:

Junkyard — facebook.com/junkyardhollywood
Junkyard built on this reputation in the sweaty, beer-soaked dive bars of East Hollywood. In a city awash in a sea of hairspray, lipstick and power ballads their appeal was immediate, and after a show with Jane's Addiction at L.A.'s legendary Scream Club, Geffen Records pounced. The band's self-titled debut was released in 1989 to significant acclaim. Dubbed «a swaggering mutation of Motörhead and ZZ Top,» it garnered rave reviews (including four stars from Rolling Stone) and yielded sales in excess of half a million units. Both its singles, «Hollywood» and «Simple Man,» received major MTV airplay, with «Simple Man» hitting #47 on the Billboard rock chart. The next year, Junkyard released its sophomore album, «Sixes, Sevens and Nines.» Produced by Ed Stasium (Motörhead, Ramones), the album featured songwriting collaboration with country legend Steve Earle («Slippin' Away»). A tour of England with The Almighty followed, as well as a North American arena tour opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd. After the success of their first two albums, Junkyard went back to the drawing board for what was to be their third release, but changing musical tastes led to recording upsets and Junkyard disbanded. In 2014, Geffen re-released Junkyard's first two albums and the band was once again in demand. Tours of Japan and Europe followed, including co-headlining the Serie Z festival in Spain, performing to over 10,000 fans--many of which had waited decades to get a glimpse of the band in action. In 2015, Junkyard released the single «Faded b/w The River» and was promptly signed by Los Angeles indie, Acetate Records. «High Water» their first album for Acetate, is a take no prisoners collection of raw punk rock blues that picks up where the band left off.

After week one, «High Water» charted in the states & the bible of the music business had this to say — billboard.com/articles/business/7784715/junkyard-announces-tour-as-the-1980s-east-hollywood-rock-scene-returns

Spread Eagle — facebook.com/spreadeaglenyc
Spread Eagle burst upon the scene playing a brand of rock that came straight from the gutter. When Paul DiBartolo (guitar) Rob De Luca (bass) and Tommi Gallo (drums) moved to New York City and met up with Ray West (vocals), east coast Streetmetal was born. While rehearsing/writing in a dingy East Village basement for their first gig, rumours began leaking out to the record industry. The group was quickly snatched up and signed to MCA/Universal Records, then sent straight into the legendary Record Plant studios. Additional tunes for the debut album had to be written while recording was taking place. The self-titled debut was produced by Charlie Gambetta and featured wailing vocals and razor sharp guitar, demonstrated through songs such as «Switchblade Serenade», «Scratch Like A Cat», and «Broken City». The honesty of Spread Eagle's debut release quickly gained the band worldwide critical acclaim. Four years later, after the release and touring of their second album «Open To The Public» (also produced by Gambetta), the band took a break and went about their own personal projects. Rob De Luca is currently in UFO and the SEBASTIAN BACH BAND. The Bach band toured as direct support for GUNS N' ROSES on their «2006-2012 Chinese Democracy World Tours». Rob has also toured and/or recorded in JOAN JETT AND THE BLACKHEARTS, HELMET, GEORGE LYNCH (DOKKEN/LYNCH MOB), VINNIE MOORE, MIKE CHLASCIAK (HALFORD), OUIJIPIG and OF EARTH (free debut album download available). Rob has recorded for Grammy winning «Producer Of The Year» STEVE LILLYWHITE and for Grammy winning «Album Of The Year» engineer TOM CAMUSO. Ray West is fronting his new project Weapons Of Anew, with their impressive debut album out now. Paul Dibartolo went on to score music in the film and t.v. industry. He now creates music under the name Salvadore Poe. Charlie Gambetta operates his record label «Jambetta Music» (jambetta.com), breaking new and talented artists and still making the mold for the real. Spread Eagle reformed in 2006 and has been together ever since. Lovember Records reissued their remastered debut album in association with Universal Music.
