Woodburner is proud to present:
Brass licks, sax riffs, hat hits and rap spits – a live hip-hop brass band, born on the streets of London.
This high energy eight piece meld the funky melodies of hard-hitting brass with the hip-hop beats of live drums and rap. The crew from North London serve up a healthy dose of lip-splitting originals, peppered with sick solos from top jazz cats, as well as giving some old school classics a heavy brass makeover. Over the last 2 years, the boys have plied their trade with gigs at The Garage, Brixton Jamm & 229 The Venue, as well as rocking stages at Alexandra Palace Summer Festival, Roundhouse, London Remixed Festival and Big Feastival. Playing alongside artists such as Youngblood Brass Band, Dub FX, Lazy Habits, Mr Woodnote & Eva Lazarus has cultivated an extensive and energetic repertoire. They have just released their debut full length album, Half-Time, packed full of red hot verse and fat horn lines, on Foundry Records.
SUPER BEST FRIENDS CLUB
Super Best Friends Club are a friendly beast from London. We wonder if it's possible to transform this cutthroat universe to a loving frequency. And we wonder if its possible to do this through nudity and frantic dancing. I think its worth trying.

Now I have to give back to music whatever I can… Where de name come from? Well John is from ‘John Doe’, Blood is what we all have in common, so yuh see what I sayin… Izza ‘One’ ting, Izza love… I have some friends with me and we making music for all, to inspire, to heal, to dance, to educate, to enjoy, to share, to love… And with love, we taking the music as far as possible. Bless”
We say you'll be hard pushed to find a better roots-reggae band in London right now — great musicians and a great vibe.
