Black Cultural Archives. 1 Windrush Square. Brixton, SW2 1EF London, United Kingdom
Listen to the best of old skool garage played by live sets from Kiss FM DJ Pioneer and Supa D.

Originally inspired by the sound system culture and later Jungle, DJ Pioneer has taken the Black British music to a new level. A radio personality, producer, DJ and now owner of his own record label, Pioneer’s role in promoting, producing, and developing the Black sound in Britain is immeasurable. From UK garage to funky house, DJ Pioneer is renowned for bringing the sound of the UK streets through the soundwaves of Pure Magic, London Underground, Y2K, and Dejavu radio stations, and now Kiss FM.

Household name Supa D will be joining us, playing his epic collection of UK garage and soulful house. Since making his way through the underground scene of music in 2005, Supa D has produced a number of album compilations with Rinse FM, Jetstar records, and Ministry of Sound, before setting up an independent record label SOTU with longstanding friend DJ Pioneer in 2012.

Having travelled all around the world from Miami to Ibiza, Amsterdam to Malia and Jamaica, Black Cultural Archives brings Supa D and DJ Pioneer to Brixton, Windrush Square as we celebrate their contribution to the Black sound in Britain.

Tickets are £10.00
