The Comedy Grotto presents two rollicking Edinburgh previews. We've been praised as the «2nd Best Free Comedy Club in London» (Time Out), for our «always richly-programmed bashes» (Independent) and «An all-star cutting-edge line-up» (The Sunday Times).
Tonight, we've got these dazzlers for you:
ED ACZEL: IS EDWARD ACZEL INFINITE?
Is Edward Aczel Infinite? Have you ever thought: who am I? Is it all just a dream? Is time constant or variable? Is it only possible to imagine the infinite? No, me neither.
Anyway, we live in uncertain times and Ed's house is built on shifting sand. So it calls for some navel-gazing. It'll probably be fine – it might even work… there’ll definitely be jokes. And more stars than you can shake a stick at (ideally).
‘Still the master of the genre’ ★★★★ Scotsman
‘Dead-pan dynamo… very funny' ★★★★ Mirror
‘Perhaps Britain's greatest living anti-comedian’ — Guardian
One of the strangest, and finest, hours of live comedy I’d ever seen’ — Zadie Smith, New Yorker
MICHAEL LEGGE AND CAROLINE MABEY ARE TWO STUPIDS
Two huge and awful comedic talents, Michael Legge – ‘often copied, never matched' (Time Out) – and Caroline Mabey – 'oddball genius' (Chortle) – fuse together and become this season’s must-have double-act comedy super-group team.
Horrifying, stupid, messy, stupid, shambolic, stupid, convoluted nonsense.
‘If there's a criticism of this show it's that Legge and Mabey are of such a calibre that Two Stupids is too good’ -' ★★★★ Skinny
