Experience an insight to Tibet and its ancient sacred traditions- a journey to the spiritual Himalaya through mantra, meditative chants, and traditional Tibetan instrumentation.
Due to circumstances that are out of our control- Phurpa did not catch their flight to the UK and are no longer performing this summer.
Phurpa are replaced with- The Tibetan monks from the Tashi Lhunpo monastery, performing ancient, ritualistic dances, garbed in traditional Tibetan ceremonial wear- and a special Tantric Bon chanting set, with huge cinematic drone- a deep meditative piece of sub-harmonic throat singing and ancient Tibetan instrumentation- building to a climatic intensity of ancient spiritual sounds.
This is a rare, spiritual performance, and we are happy to share this experience with you
BlackMoon1348 in collaboration with the Tibetan Tashi Lhunpo Monks.
BlackMoon1348 are joined by three Buddhist monks from Tashi Lhunpo Monastery (South India/Tibet) to create a huge cinematic spectacle, combining the spiritual insight of Tibetan chants and mantras, the sound of the dungchen (Tibetan Longhorn) gyaling (Tibetan Oboe) and percussive ritual instruments with BlackMoon1348's sub-harmonic drone and throat singing.
