The Lamb Surbiton
73 Brighton Road, KT6 5NF Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
For one night only, Jaz Delorean brings his infamous montly East London event to the Lamb stage!
The evening with feature Tankus the Henge's Jaz and Tim Fulker along with Hands of the Heron.
Hands of the Heron is a fledgling folk collective from Bristol who draw influence from diverse sources such as Fleet Foxes, Joni Mitchell, This Is The Kit and Gustav Holst. Their songcraft is inquisitive and intuitive, capturing moments of high emotion and distilling them into vivid, memorable melodies.
Sometimes there's a couple of musicians, and sometimes there's six or seven. Together, they weave tales of love, loss and regeneration, with mandolin and harmony vocals at the core, accompanied by a changing cast of musicians including accordion, cello, double bass, tabla and flute. Bethany Roberts is responsible for most of the songwriting, but she likes it best when other people join in. Their debut album 'As We Lingered' is due out this autumn.
