A brand spanking new night showcasing original R&B and the sounds that grew from that amazing era of music! Showcasing new and established artists from around the World — join us every 1st and 3rd Weds of the month!
Our first session sees Johnny Camel grace the stage alongside Sebastian Payne!
From the sunny heart of the Western Cape Winelands in South Africa, Johnny Camel has been performing for the last 10 years.
With a smokey voice and skilled guitar, he takes his audience through a heart felt blues-rock journey. From slow, captivating melodies to upbeat songs.
Performing songs from his debut album Warm Water (available in all online stores and on the night) and carefully selected covers, look forward to a unique blend of Indie, Rock and Blues from this young man!
Seb is an ex St Paul's Cathedral chorister and 10 years ago he was singing for the Queen's Golden Jubilee. A decade later, he's studying at Berklee College of Music developing his songwriting, vocal technique and learning about the music biz. His vocal teacher, ex-Motown veteran Bobby Taylor describes Seb as the 'third best singer he's ever taught' — which sounds a bit like damning with faint praise — until you hear that the second best singer he taught was Michael Jackson… (and the best was Marvin Gaye!) Seb plays his own beautiful penned songs along with some favourites we all know and love!
