Love Music Hate Racism presents a night of rebel music to round off the 40th anniversary of the Battle of Lewisham community festival and warm up for this year's Carnival! Expect Reggae, Soca, Grime and Afrobeats…

Love Music Hate Racism is working alongside Goldsmiths, Lewisham Council and the Albany Theatre to run a community festival commemorating the “Battle of Lewisham” on Sunday 13 August 2017 #Lewisham1977.

Join us to commemorate one of the most important events in the history of Lewisham and for race relations in the UK. The event will include live music, screenings, panel discussions, exhibitions, stalls, food and will end with an evening gig from 7pm at the Theatre space of The Albany, Douglas Way, Deptford, London SE8 4AG.
