1-2 Sutherland Road Path, E17 6BX London, United Kingdom
Date: Thursday 17th August
Time: 7pm – 9.30pm
Where: Blackhorse Sideshow (ooposite Blackhorse Rd tube station)
Learn about the craft of zine making and create your own zine using SIDESHOW’S ‘Sounds of Summer’ exhibition as inspiration. We’ll be looking at several different methods of making and binding zines, then participants will explore the exhibits in the Sounds of Summer exhibition, to respond in a unique way, using drawing, writing and collage.
Aritst and zine maker Adam Vaudin will then guide us through how to contextualise ideas into a zine, and test uses of paper, binding and different formats. At the end of the workshop everyone will have made their own zine! Adam will then collate these as an anthology, which will be printed and to be displayed as part of the Sounds of Summer exhibition.
Please note that refunds and/or changes to your ticket are available up to 7 days before the workshop.
