** What is LSESU RAG? **
RAG stands for Raising and Giving and is the fundraising arm of the Students' Union. Throughout the year RAG runs a huge programme of events and challenges, from nights out to treks up Kilimanjaro! The money that RAG raises every year is donated to their chosen charities, and last year this totalled over £150,000. This means that all the profit made from the RAG Band will be given to amazing charities. Therefore, you're having a great time partying and the charities get significant sums of money. Everyone's happy!
**Who can get one? **
Any new LSE student (sorry King's, UCL etc!), so first years and postgrads are both very much welcome! Returning students are invited to buy individual tickets to some of the events nearer the time but CANNOT buy the RAG Band.
Please note that you must be over 18 to purchase a RAG Band. You will not be allowed entry into the clubs if you are underage.
**How can you get one? **
You can buy your RAG Pack from the 22nd of August onwards and will be available to collect it from the RAG team once you get to LSE from Sunday 17th of September.
DO NOT hang around as RAG Bands WILL sell out as they do every year.
