This training day provides further understanding to cardiology and cardiothoracic trainees and consultants into the diagnosis, management and medical treatments of congenital heart disease.
The population of adult patients with congenital heart disease is growing and heart failure is a major cause of morbidity and mortality in this patient group.
This meeting includes lectures on the following topics:
— Diagnose patients with higher risk of developing heart failure
— Medical treatments and heart rhythm options in managing acute and chronic heart failure
— Transplant options available for patients who are more at risk
