After the success of our festival in May we are holding A Day of Togetherness a one day mini-festival of human connection @ Kachette in Shoreditch.

You can take part in experiences which will enrich the quality of your relationships, explore new ways of connecting with others and learn new knowledge and skills at this alcohol free event.

We know from studies that happiness comes from our relationships with everyone in our lives, not our bank balance. This event is for everyone over 18, whatever your sexuality, relationship status, gender identity, politics, sexuality, religion, ethnicity. All sessions will be run in a gender neutral way.

Sessions include:

Relaxation for Exquisite intimacy — Based on the potential for deep relaxation to increase the sensitivity and connectivity experienced through intimate physical contact (massage...not sex). The session involves hypnotherapy and live music. With Desmond O'Connor

Every Body is Beautiful — In this body positive nude photo studio you can celebrate your body whatever shape and size it is. Come away with beautiful images. This was extremely popular at our festival in May so we are bringing it back. There is an additional charge to book a 15 min slot for this session which is taking place throughout the day. With Hannah Anketell

Intro to Shibari & Power dynamics — Shibari is the art of Japanese rope bondage.
Shibari is more than sex and restriction. It is partnership, it is trust, it is intimacy. In this session, Anna and Sophia will show you the power of ropes and how they can be used to create intense moments of connection with your partner.
They will first show you basic shibari techniques and how simple control of the ropes (proper use of tension, flow, speed and handling) can be used to create a universe for your and your partner.
Then they will introduce the topic of Power Exchange within ropes. Being able to feel completely vulnerable and challenged, but also completely safe at the same time can be an extremely powerful experience for the person being tied (the rope 'bottom'). It is also an extremely intense experience for the person providing this experience (the’ rigger’ or ‘rope top’). This relies on trust, communication and synchronicity in headspaces; Anna and Sophia will guide you through a journey of discovery into this form of rope play and show you how this can be incorporated into your partnership. You can join this session with someone to work with or join solo and partner with other solo people if you wish. Led by Anna and Sophia from Anatomie Studio

Porn & Mindfulness — This workshop looks at breaking down the presumptions & judgements people have around porn that can be deep rooted and harmful. The first part will look at the damaging aspects of modern porn, taking it out of the shadows to discuss the habits of miscommunication/disconnection it can be responsible for. The the second half looks at how in breaking those habits porn can unite us. It will also look at what ethical porn means and how we can consume porn mindfully. With Ruby Carol.

Authentic Relating — Have you ever said yes when you meant no? Struggled to say what you think? Wished you could be more honest about how you feel? Longed not to have to explain yourself? This stuff can be difficult, fun and worth getting good at.
Explore ways of seeing, connecting and appreciating others and oneself at a deeper level. There is no script for how to be authentic or what relating should look like.
In this workshop we reach beyond the small talk, sidestep the norms that govern ordinary social interactions and explore from a place of “this is who I am right now”. This kind of experimentation and vulnerability invites us all to be unusually brave. With Rosa Sommer Martin and Richard Loizou of Unusually Brave.

Mindful Pleasure – Create your own pleasure practice
Research shows us that regular practice of mindful awareness (or meditation) creates permanent beneficial changes in the very structure of our brains. But mindful awareness practice may take many other forms than traditional contemplation. In Mindful Pleasure we will combine the benefits of mindful awareness with those of becoming deeply connected to your body. You will be supported in creating and refining an empowering practice that really works for you. With Laura-Doe Harris.

Be Here Now: Passion & Empowerment — Passion is an important part of individuation, filling us with vigour and supporting us to take actions aligned to our beliefs. Passion is too easily lost in the daily grind. Learn tools to connect with your passion for living that you can use daily. With Togetherness founder Adam Wilder

Sensual Jam — After an introduction, you will be invited to join a series of exercises followed by the opportunity to play, co-create and explore jam-style in a safely held space. During this playful and wholehearted session we will explore alone, in pairs and small groups to connect to our bodies and the senses. With consent, intention and awareness as a framework and using sound, breath, silence, motion (rising and dropping), touch and words, we will allow pleasure and intuition to guide us into beingness. Diversity and boundaries are honoured at all times. With Calu Lema

Dance for Connection — A session with international dance favourite Guy Barrington. Exploring sensuality and aliveness through dance, weaving together affection and pleasure for existence with a heartfelt, compassionate approach to living. The more connected we are, the deeper and more fulfilling our relationships become. Through dance, we awaken our inner-fire.

Cacao Café — An insanely delicious selection of plant based cakes and chocolates including the legendary Raw Cacao Brownie and Marbled Capuccino Cheesecake. Also serving hot drinks with space to relax and connect with new people. From Aradhana Kaur.
