Negative Emotions and How to Deal With Them Using Buddhist Philosophy and Meditation
Rabjampa Tenzin Josh MA was ordained as a monk by the Dalai Lama and has over 30 years experience teaching meditation globally. He remains one of the leading experts in his field in Surrey.
This monthly course is divided up into four separate sessions, designed to help you develop the skills and attitudes to combat negative emotions that you suffer from. Analyse the whole range of negative emotions and discuss techniques to deal with them according to the Buddhist philosophy.
Each session explores different emotions, meditate with them and gives tools to better cope with them when they arise, learning how to anticipate and reduce their impact on our lives. This will be complimented with handouts and homework.
Session 1: Sunday 10th September 12.30-2.30pm

We will examine the nature of the mind itself and how negative emotions arise in it.
'Negative Emotions in General'
What do we actually mean by a negative emotion how are they defined and what is their nature and what are the best ways in general to deal with them.
