Buckinghamshire to hold its first night club for people with Learning disabilities.
Butlers in high Wycombe and White Leaf Support have finalised a date to bring the night life for those with Learning Disabilities.
White Leaf Support who cares for young adults with learning disabilities in High Wycombe came up with the idea after running their own club FADE which promotes exercise and dance. Many of the residents who they support talk a lot about going out at night to clubs but felt they did not feel welcome.
Gavin, manager for Butlers said “we fully support people with Disabilities, this could potentially become a long-term night out for people in our community to be welcomed into our pub”
Naz, manager at White Leaf said “this is great news, finally we are able to give those that need our support a part of our life without having the fear of what others will say. This is great idea which brings people with all sorts of disability under one roof and have a good night out”
Butlers and White Leaf are expecting a turnout of around 200 guests.
Tickets will be available on the door for £5 from 7pm till midnight on 6th September.
