We need your help to create a water-themed cardboard world, including cardboard structures, props and costumes. Join participatory workshops led by celebrated Russian artist, Tyran.

— ____Adult Public workshops (Ages 16+):
Meet the team and join a two hour taster workshop on Wednesday 13th September and/or Thursday 14th September at 6pm – 8pm.
____Family Workshop (Ages 8+):
Bring your family along and help create the Cardboardia world on Thursday 14th September at 4pm – 6pm.
____Full week participation opportunity (Ages 16+):
Join the Cardboardia team for a full week of workshops where you will help to create the Cardboard world for the festival. The week will be split into modules where you will learn about set and installation design as well as how to create interactive performances and how to work with the public at events like ThamesFest.
You will need to attend the workshop on Tuesday 12th, Wednesday 13th, Thursday 14th and Friday 15th September for a full day (11am – 8pm) or a half day (11am — 4pm or 3pm – 8pm). You will also need to be available on Saturday 16th September for the festival.
**This would be ideal for designers and makers, those interested in gaining new skills in building sculpture as well as those who love to create things with their hands. This would also be great for people interested in participation activities as well as performers.**
The deadline to contact Sophie to apply for this Full Week Participation Opportunity is Thursday 7th September, 12 noon.
Priority will be given to local Barking and Dagenham residents.
