Explore the history and architectural highlights of Carlton House Terrace during Open House weekend, the home of the UK’s national academy of science.
On 16 and 17 September, the largest annual festival of architecture and design returns to the capital. Over the weekend, visitors will be able to discover the secrets of the Grade I listed, Nash-designed town houses that are home to the oldest scientific academy in continuous existence.
Self-guided tour booklets will be available on the door and the rich history of the building can be explored further on one of the guided tours.
Admission is free and no booking is required for entry, however guided tours will need to be booked upon arrival.
On Saturday doors will open at 10am and close at 6pm (last entry 5.30pm)
On Sunday doors will open at 11am and close at 4pm (last entry at 3.30pm)
