House of Vans proudly presents Sessions — a series of intimate gigs by up and coming bands from the UK and beyond.

Catch London-based quartet Pelicandy & muti-national trio Imperial Daze perform a super intimate live show from our newly launched mini stage in Tunnel 2.

No one's bottled 1980s Miami excess quite like Pelicandy. Propelled by clipped, synthetic drums and chirruping guitar-line that sit somewhere between Prince, Metronomy and The 1975, the London bunch shows confidence in every swaggering step and on new single 'Animals', they're flicking every switch to 'on' til the fuses blow.

Pals since their school days, that camaraderie shines through on their tight-as-a-knot rhythm section, bopping along right up until the glam rock guitar solo that seem purpose built for a sweaty basement club...or tunnel.

Brought together by a love of early noughties French electro, surf music and wonky British songwriting, Imperial Daze have been working between their own studio and the Maccabees' studio in Elephant & Castle, where they recorded their freshly released deput EP with Maccabee Rupert Jarvis.

With influences ranging from Tame Impala and Air to Damon Albarn and Link Wray, Imperial Daze are on a continuous drive to find new and exciting ways to deliver the woozy, groovy and romantic pop music that they hear in their heads.

Grab a drink from our bar and enjoy the free show!
