Back once again on Wednesday 20th September to ruin your evening.
Live music at Rye Wax from 8.30pm, Pat Sharp.
Zsa Zsa Sapien
Zsa Zsa Sapien is the vocalist and trumpeter in South London collective Meatraffle, a band creating what they describe as «Bastard music». Playing stripped back prototype or Meatraffle rejects using a sampler, with songs such as The Loudness of Breakfast (which is a song about the loudness of breakfast) and The Day the Earth Stood Still (global general strike). AKA Falafelraffle (only in North London), the music is far left wing, absurdist, critical, trapdoor jazz, erroneous funk, death ragga.
Turbulent post-punk band from Sheffield/London.
Fat dawgs journeying from Brighton to grace us with their ever changing manifesto. Sounds like soup.
The Midnight Itch
'Birthed in the sad lonely swamp comes the ill-minded sounds of your midnight tremors. Incorporating all your mindless thoughts and daily pleasures. All to leave you drenched, aching at the knees with the lingering whiff of sweat and the itches from our fleas.' Lovely stuff.
Right you are, see ya then.
