Festival of Italian Literature in London + Donna Fügassa and SUGO Collective, in collaboration with Aperol and Scuola Holden, are glad to invite you to the very first event of the Festival: FILL's launch and fundraising party.
Let's meet at Donna Fügassa in Dalston from 7pm for a fun night of music, food and Spritz, and try your luck at our raffle: the first prize are two creative writing online courses offered by Scuola Holden, the leading Italian creative writing school.
By getting a raffle ticket, you may also win vinyl records, food, drinks, restaurant dinners, books and much more! Funds raised with the raffle will help supporting the first edition of the Festival of Italian Literature in London, which kicks off one week after the party.
Don't forget to check the rich programme of the festival and book your seats here > fill.org.uk/events/
See you at the party!
WHAT IS FILL?
The Festival of Italian Literature in London (FILL) is a festival of literature and ideas envisioned by the London-based Italian literary community and organised with the Italian Cultural Institute of London. The Festival wants to attract all Londoners and all events will be in English, or in Italian with English translation provided.
The first edition will run on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd of October 2017. It will take place in the heart of London, at the Coronet Theatre in Notting Hill. More info here: fill.org.uk
Books by the authors in our programme will be available at a book stall run by the Italian Bookshop. For those who crave something more than just food for thought, a stall run by Donna Fügassa will be selling Italian street food.
SUGO Collective will be playing a special Italian-inspired set in the atmospheric bar of the Festival, and they will be playing a preview of their set at the fundraising party at Donna Fügassa.
