Join us to celebrate one year of Uniqlo Tate Lates! October’s programme takes inspiration from the Hyundai Commission: SUPERFLEX – 'One Two Three Swing!' in Tate Modern's Turbine Hall.
MUSIC PROGRAMMED BY NTS RADIO
See the London Contemporary Orchestra live with musician CHAINES and a DJ set from Tasker in the Tanks. Full NTS line up coming soon!
SUPERFLEX OPEN CALL
Each SUPERFLEX swing is designed for three people, because moving together has greater potential than moving alone. We want to see who helps you realise your potential. Share an original photo or artwork of this person using #SUPERFLEXcommunity on Instagram by October 16th. Your responses will be chosen by Reggie Yates and shown alongside Reggie’s photographic portraits.
Join Juneau Projects’ DIY-styled print production line and create your own unique print. Contribute your work to the gallery display and exchange your print creation for someone else’s.
HYPNOTIC ART TOUR
Grab some headphones and journey through the galleries with our hypnotic soundtrack. Experience artworks in a trance-like state and allow yourself to get lost in the galleries.
YOKO ONO: MEND PIECE
Yoko Ono has composed a new version of her iconic Mend Piece for Uniqlo Tate Lates. First seen in her exhibition at the Indica Gallery in the autumn of 1966, Mend Piece has taken many forms over the years. For this version, Yoko Ono asks participants to ‘mend your heart’.
KAPUTT: THE ACADEMY OF DESTRUCTION – OUT OF HOURS
Karnage Kills is opening the Academy of Destruction out of hours. Drop-in to watch him in performance as he destroys gender stereotypes and check out what the Academy’s been doing during their day of destructive creativity.
