Kilimanjaro Live Presents:
As It Is
Please note, this event is 14+ (Under 16s must be accompanied by an 18+ adult)
Having just finished their main support slot on the UK leg of Neck Deep’s huge UK tour, As It Is have today announced their biggest UK headline tour to date for March 2018. The six date run will see the band ending on a high at KOKO. Support comes from Like Pacific and Grayscale, with one more act still to be announced.
Speaking of the tour, lead singer Patty Walters says, “These shows will land nearly two years after our last UK headline shows, and we truly can’t wait to show you the band we’ve become in that time. We’ll be playing both new and old songs, songs we’ve never played before, and possibly some particularly old songs we thought we’d never be playing again. These will be far and away our biggest, most ambitious headline shows to date, and we’re so excited and humbled to be playing these rooms next year. We hope you’re looking forward to the OKAY UK TOUR as much as we are!”
Remarkably, the ‘okay. U.K’ dates signal the band’s first UK headline shows since the release of the album in January 2017. Since the band launched the ‘okay.’ campaign with a single of the same name, the band have headlined in the United States, Australia, Japan, and Europe, as well as a host of notable support slots and festival appearances.
In addition to the title-track, ‘Pretty Little Distance’ and upcoming single ‘No Way Out’, perfectly showcase the album’s deeply personal subject matters, set in fictional 1950’s America, with an overriding message that reality is not always what it seems and that it’s OK to not feel OK sometimes.
