The RPO presents Strauss’ tone poem Don Juan, followed by Mozart’s light-hearted Symphony No.35. Celebrated cellist Alban Gerhardt then joins the Orchestra for Strauss’ playful Don Quixote.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra is very grateful to Rafael Payare who will be replacing Charles Dutoit, who has recently stepped down as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra.
