Craig Richards & Margaret Dygas (All Night Long)
Special Guest: Ion Ludwig (Live)
The next edition in our All Night Long series brings together two of electronic music’s most distinguished and respected artists as Craig Richards and Margaret Dygas take over Room One. Panorama Bar veteran, top-flight digger and mainstay of the revered Perlon imprint, Dygas has a unique and arresting capture on dance floors wherever she appears. Behind the decks she typically blends classy minimal via dubby house and techno, crafting trippy and mystical sets that are distinctly her own. She also has a long history with us – before moving to join the likes of Zip and Villalobos in Berlin, she frequently played for us in the club’s early years. Craig Richards also joins her. A seasoned collector and digger of all shades of the electronic music spectrum, Richards is also widely regarded as the master of our Room One booth. The pair join forces to take control of the space for the entire night.
In Room Two, we present a night of toughened techno as Anthony Parasole lands. A key frontrunner of the New York house scene and owner of the Deconstruct Music label, Parasole’s penchant for the deeper side of the genre has made him one of the most distinct artists on the exceptional Ostgut Ton roster. He’s joined by Efdemin, the beloved minimal techno producer and part of the Dial camp. Our resident Terry Francis finally rounds off the bill with his solid array of house and techno selections.
Update: We’re pleased to announce Ion Ludwig will now play live as a special guest in Room One. Closely tied to labels like Lick My Deck, Sushitech and Meander, Ludwig’s deep and dubby style of house has been a constant reference point among Europe’s top minimalists over the last decade. On 17th March he performs live in Room One to punctuate the evening, with Margaret and Craig set to share the decks for the rest of the night.
