NATASHA GIORDANO feat. ANDALOU-DOG (guitar/vocals)
Natasha Giordano is a London based, Italian-born artist who investigates sounds as inner places. After a long experience as a keyboardist and piano player, Natasha has started her solo project. She likes being alone.
Dark but dreamy, brutal but tender her music expands from dub techno to ambient, and her heart is controlled by a Juno 106 analog synthesiser.
Martin Delaney is a producer, photographer and writer. His performance will consist of live drum machine/synth improvisation, without computer. Erratic beats, chiming melodies, bass outbursts, seething distortion. Narrow wide dirty clean. Visuals provided by Stormfield.
Last live set recording here:
Villain is the current moniker for the more abstracted and techno-orientated output from a musician who has been producing electronic music and performing livesets since the late 1990s. The debut release under this name was via Crux’s own Ears to the Future label and there’s a forthcoming EP lined up for Coin Operated.
This particular version of his liveset sees live drum programming from a custom Lemur patch fused with synth tweaking and rough’n’ready glitches and mixing to produce a cut’n’paste live techno set with a good dose of funk and distortion.
Tracks are improvised and then forged on the spot into new loops which are then crossfaded into subsequent new parts – a kind of DJ battle with yourself!
Ruido is a Portuguese London-based artist. A self taught producer/performer who worked in numerous projects from sound design adverts to being part of projects with artists like Arthur Baker, Chuck Prophet and Joe Ambrose. He was also of part of Alma, NoiD and DJs under the alias Stereopathy.
His works are defined as soundscapes recorded as past memories from his travels and life circumstances. He then manipulates and uses those sounds to recreate his experiences throughout sounds, melodies and rhythms.
Ruido is also into building new instruments, which are to be used to generate those unique sonics.
Mowgli & The Slate Pipe Banjo Draggers present:
An experimental, improvised audiovisual performance combining the ‘one is more not four’ single string MIDI bass and the Zenoid, an audiovisual groove box. The performance mixes samples, found sounds, synth, bass, percussion, vocals, animation and sound reactive generative visuals to form a synaesthetic whole which is always unique, surprising even the performers…
DJ PET ROK (flies+flies/Petwo Evans)
Mobile DJ improvising with pop, afrobeats, drone and any other audio that takes his fancy using a bespoke digital DJ setup.
