Join our late night opening on 1 February 2018 for Whitechapel Gallery First Thursdays.

Newly opened exhibitions include Artist’s Film International: Patrick Hough, John Skoog, Ørjan Amundsen [Free Entry]. ISelf Collection: The Upset Bucket [Free Entry], MATT + FIONA: Room For Art [Free Entry].

Ongoing exhibitions include Leonor Antunes: the frisson of the togetherness [Free entry] and Commissions from Performa’s Archives [Free Entry].

Meet the artist Claudia Sarnthein who will be signing her new catalogue, following her exhibition Von Alters Her at Künstlerhaus Bethanien, Berlin, as part of the International Studio Programme in 2017. Contours of the folkloric, the Pagan and the Christian, Mesopotamia and the remote future reside, side by side, in her work.

The publication includes texts by Christoph Tannert, Federica Bueti and Claudia Sarnthein. It is designed by Loose Joints and published by Künstlerhaus Bethanien. Starts at 6.30pm. Catalogue priced at £16.
