Epping Ongar Railway’s beloved Bertie Bunny will be leading what is probably the longest Easter egg hunt in Essex. Running the length of the railway track, from Ongar through to Coopersale, the distance covered is equivalent to 131,579 eggs placed end to end!

Bertie has hidden lots of eggs along the railway line… can you find them all? Be sure to keep watch out the windows during your journey! All children who find all the eggs will receive a special Easter treat.

Stay alert for Bertie the Easter Bunny, who will be out and about the stations and maybe even aboard some of the trains throughout each day!

Tickets are valid all day long offering unlimited travel on trains and connecting heritage buses.

Children young and old can also enjoy having their faces painted by Cre8tive Faces* at North Weald.

The Bunny Hop Children's Disco returns — at times throughout the day at North Weald Station. John Clayton's Magic Show will be on hand at North Weald Station at intervals during the day and Lennie Nova will be balloon modelling*.
