The SLST dropping a line up to truly dance for with (Room 1) guest host DJs from 3 of the UKs finest, funkiest institutions Wah Wah 45s (Dom Servini), BBE Music & Love Vinyl (Jake Holloway) dropping it like it’s hot all night long. The dancefloorcentric DJs joined by one of the most exciting live performers anytime, anywhere, Dynamic Electro Swing Heads — THE CORRESPONDENTS [Live] and very direct around 1230am. Plus we got so much more across 3 rooms at OMEARA London.
Part of our-going mission to move your mind and body + force feed yoh soul with the absolute best of times.
The Correspondents consist of a singer Mr Bruce and a producer Chucks. Both growing up in South London, they formed in 2007 and within two years had taken their hi-octane genre-blending dance music from house parties to festival main stages.
The show that quickly established the duo as one of the best live acts in the UK has Mr Bruce assuming the look of a monochrome matador, singing with force, scatting at speed and dancing like his life depends on it while Chucks takes the audience on a journey through a multitude of genres from jazz and blues to the nether regions of electro and drumʼnʼbass.
Since their inception they have toured far, wide and relentlessly bringing their unique live show to huge crowds (regularly playing to over 10,000 revelers) earning themselves Telegraphʼs ʻTop Ten Glastonbury Highlightsʼ two years in a row.
To say that this band are hot is an understatement + we can’t wait to welcome them back to the South London Soul Train Live stage.
Then in ROOM 2…
The Funks gonna hit the floor as Legendary DJ SNOWBOY and heavyweight vinyl digger ANDY LEWIS embark on a 6 hour marathon mission to find and deliver the perfect beat, break and positive vibration. The absolute finest in funk, soul and groove on 45 released. Tunes to make you go hot, damn and how!
The South London Soul Train killah OMEARA session line up completed in ROOM 3 where s’all all about the Northern Soul of it all. The Legendary ROB MESSER and OSCAR ROMP dropping the platters that absolutely still matter. The choicest cuts from the Motown, Stax, Volt, Chess & the rest vaults served up for max satisfaction.
