Due to massive demand, Otherkin's show at The Camden Assembly will now be at The Garage.
FRIDAY APRIL 6th. Live Nation presents: OTHERKIN Live at The Garage. Support from Hey Charlie + FEVA
Fresh from entering the Irish album charts at # 2 with their debut “OK” long player, Irish garage-rockers Otherkin have had a whirlwind year. They completed a headline album tour playing 53 concerts in 21 countries across Europe. Over the course of 2017 the band has completed three UK tours, one headline and three support tours with The Amazons, The Dead Kennedy's and more recently Inheaven.
OTHERKIN have opened for Guns ‘N’ Roses at the legendary Slane Castle, made their Download debut at Castle Donington and kept the flame burning in Holland and France, Reading & Leeds & Electric Picnic. Just recently, they were championed by Metallica’s Lars Ulrich on his Beats1 radio show. Otherkin head out on their OK tour at the end of October.
Praise for OTHERKIN:
Consequence Of Sound: «Despite its title, “Bad Advice” certainly feels like a good time. It’s a hook-filled thrasher that blends the attitude of The Clash with the peppier pop-leaning moments of earlier The Libertines.»
Clash Magazine: 'Matching feral grunge riffs to uproarious, hugely infectious songwriting, new single 'Ay Ay' is nothing less than a total banger. The sound of a young band truly coming into their own.'
NME Magazine: 'OTHERKIN play natty Britpop. Debut single 'AY AY' is more 1996 sounding than an overdriven VOX AC30 and Epiphone Rivera combo, calling to mind early Oasis. If their live show is half as rowdy they'll blaze a helter-skelter trail on the toilet circuit."
The Independent: «Basically they're just a big mass of energy — four guys who write hugely infectious tracks with rough, snarling vocals and grunge riffs.»
Fred Perry Subculture: «Otherkin are a four-piece punky new-wave pop band from Dublin, who manage to channel all the raucous spirit and energy from the last twenty years' worth of British guitar bands.»
