Enjoy the festival atmosphere of The Boat Race by watching for free from one of the many vantage points along the course. You should be able to find a place to watch on either side of the river along the full length of the course, but particular areas to note are: Putney Embankment and Bishops Park (at the start); Hammersmith and Barnes (mid-course); Dukes Meadows and Chiswick Bridge (at the finish).
Events at the river bank kick off at 12pm at Bishop's Park, Fulham and the Adnams Fan Park in Furnivall Gardens, Hammersmith. In both parks the Races will be broadcast live on the big screens and there will also but a great selection of refreshements available.
The programme for Race day contains something for everyone — fun for all at the events at the river bank kicking off at 12pm at Bishop's Park and the Adnams Fan Park in Furnivall Gardens, the traditional Oxbridge Watermen's Challenge and of course all the action from The Cancer Research UK Boat Races.
The Women's Boat Race at 4.31pm
The Men's Boat Race at 5.32pm
