Starting off as a little choir girl who performed for Hugh Jackman at his birthday, on screens at World Cup matches, for Olympians and with names like Olivia Newton-John, The Wiggles and John Farnham, Tash is now a London based Singer/Songwriter whose style is a mesh of a delicate and soulful sound, backed by a powerful voice with serious some sass and spice. Originally hailing from down under, Tash’s flair comes from blending her love for old-school jazz with a modern indie sound. Before jumping across pond to London, Tash lived in the hustle and bustle of the Big Apple where she performed twisted versions of contemporary pop, classic jazz numbers and indie-folk originals at intimate hotspots and record stores such as Arlene’s Grocery, Music Inn World Instruments, Don’t Tell Mama and The Duplex. It was there that she also began collaborating with DJs and was pulled into the world of Electronic Dance Music.
Tash is currently chipping away on new music with international artists based in the United States and Australia. She’s stoked to be gracing the stage at The Half Moon for the very first time and is eager to start sharing more of her music again soon.
