So Comedy/Broken Robot Productions presents
Myra DuBois in
Picture the scene: Victoria Coach Station, 2008. A leopard print pump pops out of the coach door and steps down onto the tarmac. One pump steps in-front of the other pump, then the first pump over-takes that pump before the second pump once again swings round and gain heading on the first pump with this process repeating itself until, removing her sunglasses cinematically, Myra DuBois herself (not off the telly, back then) emerges from the automated double doors of that art-deco depot! Oblivious to her future as one of the most celebrated figures of cultural relevance in the UK and beyond, her blond tresses encasing a head with an extraordinary mind and one hell of a mouth, she steps out into the future…
Celebrating 10 years in the capital, the ‘razor sharp, funny to the bone’ (TimeOut London) Myra DuBois takes over the Clapham Grand with a one-night only anniversary spectacular! Except song, dance and anecdotal repartee as the self-declared ‘Siren of South Yorkshire’ herself looks back on a decade in swinging London. Featuring her all LIVE band, The Spiders In Bras!
The Grand, Clapham
