In 2017 our global day of action against live transport inspired more than 100 events in over 30 countries, uniting a global movement against the cruelty of long distance live animal transport. The pressure on policy makers is mounting, but tens of thousands of live animals are still being exported from the UK every year, and this suffering HAS to stop. Join us in London to provide a voice for farm animals, and campaign for the end of this horrific trade.
WHEN: Thursday 14th June, 12:30-14:00
WHERE: Parliament Square, London, SW1P 3JX.

There will also be the opportunity to take part in a ‘die-in’. We have a 20ft banner in the shape of a live export ship, and will be asking supporters to gather around the ship, and then drop down as if dead. This will create a superb photo opportunity to show how life-threatening and cruel live transport can be. It is completely voluntary to take part. We'll need lots of people to hold placards too!
