Recent projects include: The Book Dispersed Casa das Artes Porto Portugal (2017), Corrupting Data screening Falmouth Art Gallery (2017), Will Internets eat Brain?? Other publications include: Film Poems (Les Figues, 2014), ‘Punk Faun: a bar rock pastel’ (Subpress, 2012), ‘Secure Portable Space’ (Reality Street, 2004) and, in collaboration with the bookartist Susan Johanknecht, ‘Here Are My Instructions’ (Gefn, 2004)

He collaborates with Redell Olsen at the art / life divide on Electric Crinolines projects

From 6pm:
Pip Thornton (Royal Holloway, University of London) is researching the linguistic, economic and political effects of Google’s search and advertising platforms. As part of her PhD thesis, Pip developed an artistic intervention called {poem}.py which fuses poetry, code and a receipt printer to critique the commodification of language by Google Adwords. Her work has been exhibited in Edinburgh and London and was recently featured in WIRED UK.

Astra Papachristodoulou is a poet and artist. She is a recent graduate from the MA Creative Writing (Poetic Practice) at Royal Holloway with focus in the neo-futurist tradition across poetry, visual art and performance. Her poetry has appeared in UK magazines and anthologies including The Tangerine, Datableed Zine and 3:am Magazine.

Calum Hazell is a writer and researcher. His work TENDS was published by Veer Books earlier this year. William Messenger is a producer and multi-instrumentalist. He released the album Ladder on Blank Editions in 2016. They live in London.

Emma Mackilligin and Tiffany Charrington are poets based in London. For Praxis 10, they have formed a collaborative trio with musician and artist Rhiannon Armstrong. The three have developed a score-based text performance currently titled, ‘the field’. It is a responsive piece to artist Chris Johnsen’s 2011 bookwork, Untitled.

Simon Pomery is a text-sound artist. His poetry has been published by PN Review, 3am magazine, Sure Hope and exhibited at the Wysing Arts Centre. As ‘Blood Music’, he has performed at Cafe Oto, Wysing, Golden Cabinet, La Cheetah (UK), Berlin Atonal (DE), Les Urbaines (CH), Incubate (NL), Elevate (AUT), Soup (Toyko) and Club Stomp (Osaka). ’Blood Music E.P.’ and ‘Chicks/Bagdering’ are out on Diagonal Records.
