It's that milestone, that halfway to senility mark, that time when my family all have to accept they're middle-aged now their little brother is a surprisingly well-preserved (or pickled) 50 years old.
And because I'm scalp deep in Edinburgh and other projects, this is the closest I'm going to get to a party so I hope you can join me.
If you fancy a bit of a singalong, we'll be hosting our usual Variety Bunker from 4:30 — 7pm, then drinks a-plenty at The George Tavern all night. There may well be impromptu dancing, pole or otherwise as the evening progresses, and items of clothing may or may not be discarded. It's all very free and easy.
Bring whom you like, come and go as you like, but say hello and gimme a cuddle while my bones can still take it.
Give me the strength to see August through to the other side!
