A gender reversal of Ovid’s classical story Pygmalion, this new operatic version of the tale follows a pioneering scientist of artificial intelligence, who comes to the realisation that the future of humanity depends on re-engineering the entire male sex. She sets out to artificially create the ‘perfect’ man of the future, but the results of her experiment are far from what she expected…

The show was developed with the support of the PRS for music foundation in 2017 and previewed at the Hens & Chicken theatre in December 2017. The show continues to be developed and is premiering in a new version in July 2018 at Genesis cinema.
